Over the course of my internship, I had the opportunity to learn about all facets of how the firm operates while focusing on assisting the team with investment research and financial planning tasks. As I strengthened my investment research skills over my multi-semester internship, my responsibilities were significantly elevated to include tasks such as trading client accounts, making investment recommendations for model portfolios, implementing new portfolio strategies, and leading the firm's quarterly investment review meetings. From the skills I learned and strengthen over the course of my internship, I was able to obtain the APMA (Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor) professional designation to further advance my career in the finance industry. ”
