Big Brothers Big Sisters helps children who need and want a mentor. Through the personal growth and guidance of a professionally supported, one-to-one relationship, children develop self-confidence and assurance. Big Brothers Big Sisters needs mentors for children aged 5-14. Mentoring provides children with the single greatest advantage they need to grow up successfully: friendship with a caring adult, and has been shown to reduce the risk of alcohol and drug use, academic struggles and dropping out of school.
