Better Off

About Better Off

Better Off is an AI-powered tech startup for in-person social experiences and better weekends.

As an IRL Social marketplace, we host experiences from ski trips and sports leagues to social brunches and winery tours to give users a way to meet new people outside work and dating apps—through real-life experiences.

Our platform gives experience creators the tools to manage and scale their events, so they can focus on creating the best possible white water rafting trips, ceramics classes, murder mysteries, etc. without worrying about building an app or digital marketing campaign. Like Amazon but for social experiences instead of products.

MIT-built custom AI matches users to their perfect groups based on their personality and demographics - whether that's entrepreneurs, artists, singles, couples, adventure seekers, or travel buddies.

We're launching in major cities this year and joining now means shaping an entirely new space: tech powered IRL social. If you're excited about using tech to bring people together and create offline adventures, we want you on our team.

Life's better in person.🎈

Marketing Intern

June 2024 - August 2024 New York, NY
“A wide range of experiences within marketing--wasn't confined to strictly digital marketing or design, but rather got to dabble in many areas and develop different skills. I was also thankful for the amount of independence this internship entailed and how receptive Better Off was to our suggestions! Super cool to see our ideas put into practice.”

VC & Strategy Intern

June 2024 - August 2024 New York, NY
“I really enjoyed my internship at Better Off. The team dynamic was super collaborative, and I got to learn a lot by working closely with the CEO. They gave me a lot of independence, which was great for figuring out my work style and getting a taste of startup culture. It was really rewarding to see the direct impact my work had on the company, which isn't something you always get in an internship.”
