Since 1992, American Children’s Campaign (ACC. formerly known as The Children's Campaign or TCC) has led or championed major reforms that helped children prosper and protected them when public systems failed to do so. ACC is nonpartisan and nonprofit, is known for its independent voice, and is considered Florida’s leading child advocacy organization. It is an expert at educating and mobilizing citizens, presenting win-win solutions to decision makers, and finding common ground among diverse providers, players and collaborative partners. Equally as important, ACC is also known for its successful and innovative workforce development model, called The Apprenticeship Center or TAC, that grants students the opportunity to develop critical leadership skills while serving the community. TAC is designed to give current students the type of experience that bridges the gap between academic learning and the complexities of a real-world, fast-paced work environment. TAC has a 15 year history of working with both undergraduate and graduate college students, and TAC graduates have a long history of finding employment at high-value organizations immediately after college.
