Remote Digital Marketing Internship with South Asian Business

Operation Mobilization (OM) connects Jesus followers all over the world who are striving to live all of life on mission with God in the everyday places of life and work, especially where access to the gospel is limited.  

This Remote Digital Marketing Internship with a South Asian culture business is for young professionals who want to: 

  • Be a part of launching new media projects 
  • Sharpen skills in areas like social media, graphic design, web design, videography or even audio engineering  

This small, faith-driven business uncovers the beauty and complexities of South Asian culture through the examination of cross-cultural relationships, interviews, language learning, and breaking stereotypes.  

You may contribute to projects like these: 

  • Social media channel informing visitors about local culture 
  • Online social media relationship building 
  • Video series for established YouTube channel 
  • Ecommerce promoting local, eco-friendly, ethically made products 
  • Assistance in launching of cultural knowledge e-books 
  • Recording and distributing of local, ethnic music and audio artistry 

Qualifications and Skills 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Work experience in the digital media field 
  • Tech savvy and creative 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, flexible attitude and perseverance 
  • A commitment to learning about new language and culture 
  • A humble attitude of respect for different cultures 
  • A combination of a team player and self-starting/independent attitude 

Additional Info:  

  • Spring Semester Intern Cohort Dates: January 27 - April 11, 2025. 
  • All interns must be in full agreement OM USA’s Statement of Faith
  • Required pre-start training through online materials and video conference sessions with coaches and an Intern Cohort in the weeks leading up to the start date. Includes debriefing with coaches on the completion of the internship.  
  • This is an unpaid, volunteer internship that requires about 10-15 hours per week. 

Accreditation:  

  • Degree Credit is available upon the approval of your university/college supervisors. 
  • Supervisor has nearly 20 years of media and content strategy experience, experience developing business in emerging markets, along with a B.S. in Marketing and Business Administration.
