I have really appreciated how supportive and encouraging my bosses and fellow HR employees have been with me. Everyone treats me like I'm at the same level as them even though I'm technically an intern. They all care about what I have to say and want to help me take away as much as I can during my internship. I've had the opportunity to work on a wide range of HR related tasks and gain so much new knowledge. It's a very positive and inclusive work environment!

Advice
I'd encourage everyone interested in Human Resources or recruiting to apply even if they feel anxious about not having enough experience. York really goes out of its way to provide every intern and employee with the resources and support they need. This hands on approach to welcoming and training employees has been really helpful and also, makes asking questions and doing job responsibilities much easier.
