What I liked
I liked working with the LiveStrong program. I got to do things through this program that were more in line with what I thought the internship should be.
What I wish was different
I wish I spent less time filing. I did quite a bit of membership filing.
Advice
I was the first public health intern that the YMCA had, and I would probably make sure the expectations on both side were better defined before we started.

This job can get very boring and there may be long stretches when you have nothing to do (pool closed for lightning etc) so bring a book to pass the time in these circumstances, because they happen quite frequently.
