The experience of working with teenagers and building upon the development of their leadership strengths. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to form bonds with these campers/students throughout the summer as well.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been paid better and been more informed of the expectations of my job description. The communication amongst my superiors was poor in quality; thus, I often did not know what was expected of me.
Advice
Prepare for lesson plans ahead of time and be more persistent when communicating with superiors.
