I loved working with the campers everyday, and being able to have that freedom of creating my own lesson plans as a head counselor. I also liked working with the staff at Camp Carr. They made my time there so worthwhile, and I would love to work there again.
What I wish was different
I do think that some counselors played favorites with the other counselors and head staff, and at time it get pretty unfair at the workplace. I think that all just should allow equal opportunities, and non bias staff at times.
Advice
Always stay prepared. Sometimes your activities don't go as planned, so I always liked having a Plan B in case Plan A didn't work. It has saved me many times in that sense, and I was able to stay on schedule.
