Second Assistant Manager

November 2016 - June 2018 • Clarksburg, MD

What I liked

I liked that I was pushed out of my comfort zone and given a sense of authority. There were endless opportunities for teamwork, and cooperation was a constant requirement in order to do the job efficiently. I learned how to deal with confrontation in a healthy and composed manner, and learned to sharpen my time management skills.

What I wish was different

I wish that communication between employees and higher-ups was more consistent and clear, and there were a few scheduling conflicts for sales associates.

Advice

Don't be shy to ask for help, it allows for better communication and things will get done much more quickly! And don't be afraid to make mistakes, it is how you learn.
