What I liked
I loved the work environment, and the fact that my project was geared towards improving the lives of women. At Yanbal International, the company motto is "changing lives." Yanbal truly cares about the network of direct-sales consultants and directors who sell their products and form their business model. I got to work on a project that had the goal of improving the experience of directors in their first year in that role. Because of my project, I was able to interact directly with the women in the sales force, and the experience was extremely rewarding. When I presented my final project, the head of the Peruvian branch of Yanbal attended my presentation. It was amazing to be able to advocate for the directors in front of such an important audience, and the company's leadership took my findings and recommendations seriously.
