The community was absolutely amazing! The people at Wycliffe are warm, full of exciting stories, and meaningful experiences. They are very friendly, always willing to help, and flexible to your needs. The internship program is definitely something worth experiencing, especially because of the different locations you get to visit in Florida. It's not just about the job, but networking, learning about Bible Translation, and experiencing the fulfilling work of advancing the Gospel!
What I wish was different
I wish there had been more professional growth involved in the internship!
Advice
I would apply for this internship if you are interested in working in Bible Translation. You will learn so much about it, and they will likely extend you a full-time offer to work there if you feel like you're a good fit.

Bible Translation Intern
May - August 2019 • Jos North, Plateau State
What I liked
I loved the opportunity to explore Bible Translation as it really happens on the field and interact with those doing the work and those who will benefit from the work.
What I wish was different
We mainly did observation because of the specialized nature translation work, but we did learn a lot through that. I do wish we could have done more.
Advice
If you're interested in Bible Translation, in any capacity, consider giving your talents to it! Wycliffe needs pilots, teachers, nurses, etc just as much as it needs translators.

Salesforce Implementation Intern
June - August 2019 • Orlando, FL
What I liked
The community at Wycliffe is AMAZING. I truly enjoyed being involved not only in a work environment but as a member of a "company family." Being able to walk into a comfortable workplace daily was a good plus.
What I wish was different
I wish a specific amount of work had been allocated to my position before I had come; there was an adjustment period slightly longer than expected.
Advice
I would share that anyone mission minded should consider this internship.
