The Washington State University Division of Academic Engagement and Student Achievement supports through its numerous programs the academic success of all students. Its programs include the nationally acclaimed Writing Program, Academic Success and Career Center (ASCC), Office of Academic Engagement, University Common Requirements (UCORE), First-Year Experience, First-Year Focus, the Common Reading, Undergraduate Research, Distinguished Scholarships, the Transfer Center for Policy and Resources, and National Student Exchange.
