Very broad civil engineering internship. I gained exposure to many different aspects of the field.
What I wish was different
It was very field-work heavy. I would prefer more of a mix between office and field work.
Advice
Take advantage of every opportunity! Every staff lunch, presentation, shadowing opportunity...everything!

What I liked
Absolutely loved the pacing of the work, my mentor was an amazing asset and helped me learn the Survey trade efficiently. The pay was also extremely fair for the job, and there are many avenues for advancement.
What I wish was different
As with all companies, the in processing was a chore. The paperwork and classes required were not very interesting, or enjoyable. The process could be more streamlined.
Advice
As with any job, learn as much as your can, be kind, and work hard.
