I liked the experience to work with higher ups in the company and the family aspect of the job.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have worked more than 20 hours a week.
Advice
I would tell people to network and make friends with as many people that you interact with. It goes a long way and it got my foot in the door to other opportunities.

What I liked
There was a lot of freedom to do the stories you wanted to do, and the team I worked with was phenomenal.
What I wish was different
When we would broadcast the newscast, sometimes there were technical difficulties, but there’s not much you can do about that.
Advice
Don’t be afraid to ask questions and talk to the professional staff working the newsroom. They’re beyond insightful and can only help you.
