Great experience, they provide food and a private room. I personally believe that this would be a great opportunity for art students who want to focus on art and not have to worry about money coming in.
What I wish was different
Not much to be honest. Every farm will have different standards so every farm will have a different reply. Possibly more paid opportunities?
Advice
Be sure to do the work properly. People over time take a lot of advantage of this opportunity to travel so farms often have expectations set low. You are there to work, even if you have a significantly good amount of time to do art afterwards.
