I enjoyed the opportunity to network with numerous internationally-driven companies within the overall network of the World Trade Center Institute. Access to a vast portfolio of Maryland-based companies such as McCormick, BD Diagnostics, Ciena, and many more companies allowed for me to connect with various professional tracks of interest.
What I wish was different
As I was a Fellow for the Inaugural class of the Global Pathways for Students Program, I wish more marketing and advertising for this program would have been executed, as the opportunity for me was very successful. I do plan to recommend students from the Loyola community to apply for this opportunity in the future.
Advice
I would state that attending each on-site company visit with an open mind, even in that concentration is not of interest, allows you to explore options that maybe you never considered initially.
