What I liked
Working in an office was amazing! Learning the dynamics of a team divided into different sectors was very interesting-- you could see where we all came together to function efficiently. It was fast-paced and diverse, and very encouraging for new interns! I learned a lot of professional development skills.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more hands-on opportunities to meet delegates that I was inviting from different countries. Unfortunately the process of drafting proposals takes longer than 3 months, and as a result I could only meet with two delegations out of over 20 proposals I wrote and sent.
Advice
Be open minded and use your time wisely--there are a lot of opportunities and it may get overwhelming.
