What I liked

Everyone at the church was so fun to work with, I was able to learn so much from the staff and church members. Being an intern on a short-term mission trip was a new experience that was very fun and allowed me to use leadership skills.

What I liked

Everyone at the church was really friendly and super helpful when I needed help with anything. My boss was amazing and a great teacher and friend, he was great to work with and learn from. The town itself was also beautiful, it is technically in Houston but it does not feel like it at all. There are a lot of bike trails and trees everywhere.

What I wish was different

I wish I had been able to get a little more connected outside of work at the church, but I think that was entirely on me. I also wish I had been able to some more projects that I liked the idea of.

Advice

Don't be afraid to step out of you comfort zone and take on ministry opportunities that make you a little uncomfortable, you never know how God will use you.
