What I liked

I loved everything about this internship. Ryan did a really good job at giving the interns an overview of the finance industry and the things we would need in future jobs. He set aside time for weekly check-in meetings to check on our progress. Throughout the entire time, he made sure to get our feedback to see what more we wanted out of the internship.

What I liked

Woodport Holdings gave me the opportunity to gain invaluable experience in the financial field. Ryan is truly passionate and an expert in his craft. In this internship you will gain experience and knowledge in financial modeling, Excel, industry research, the process of acquiring a company and much more. Ryan is very dedicated to having interns get out what they want from the internship and is more than happy to put time aside to help you learn skills and gain experience in anything that you may want. Truly a great boss and mentor, Ryan ensures your work here is valuable, productive, impactful, and engaging. Regardless of your background knowledge, Woodport will thoroughly teach everything from financial modeling, accounting, Excel, industry research, and more -- all while being applicable and relevant to the process of acquiring a company and the skills needed for careers in finance. This is a great opportunity, and I would recommend this position to anyone wanting to expand their work experience in finance.
