I really appreciated the organizational culture of Camp Peace, the summer camp run by WRC. My supervisor and colleagues were incredibly supportive and made sure to emphasize the value of a positive work-life balance as well as a self-care routine.

Advice
One piece of advice I would share about this experience is that individuals with adverse childhood experiences do not always openly express their trauma; it is important to build trust with a child by first learning their personality. This will then naturally assist you in learning how to best manage their emotional triggers.
