Accountant Intern

January - August 2019 • Boston, MA

What I liked

Wolf treated me as a regular entry level staff employee. I prepared returns from start to finish and was able to see each stage of the process throughout my internship.

What I wish was different

I wish I tried more jobs within the company. The whole time I worked I stayed in the private client group preparing individual tax returns for clients. I would have liked to work with corporations and partnerships.

Advice

Yes the hours may be long and your social life may not be existent during this time but it’s worth it. Just focus on the job and getting as much out of it as you can.

Tax Intern

January 2018 • Boston, MA

What I liked

I liked that I was able to get real experience and was able to do Staff Grade 1 work by the end of my internship.

What I wish was different

I wish I was more informed about how the experience would be so I would be more comfortable starting out.

Advice

Always ask questions but make sure to take notes on the answers you get. Asking questions show you are willing to learn and then using your notes shows your ability to learn.
