What I liked
I loved working hands on in the field. I also was able able to fuse my passion for journalism and social advocacy to assist with stories that I felt would attract viewers.
What I wish was different
I wish I would've been able to start at the beginning of the semester just so I would have more time to work at the station.
Advice
Do your best- whether it's the smallest task that your Supervisor asks you to complete or you taking the initiative to write copy, take pictures, edit video etc. make sure that you are always doing the best job you can do. It's imperative to be open to constructive criticism and make yourself known through your hard work.
