WLEN 103.9 was founded in 1965, 103.9 WLEN was the first FM radio station in Lenawee County. The stations first promotion was to give away FM radios so citizens could listen for entertainment and local news. WLEN began on the premise of service to the community and that premise still holds true today. Keeping the citizens of greater Lenawee County entertained, informed and safe is and always has been at the core of 103.9 WLEN.
