“I loved how the staff at WJZ gave me several opportunities to learn and experience different aspects of the newsroom. I contributed and wrote over 25 articles published to their website; I stood in for the traffic reporter during a practice newscast in the new WJZ set; I assisted scheduling daily stories, reporters and photographers; I conducted two solo interviews for a story; I wrote a script for a story about a new protective helmet technology from a company called Defend Your Head; and I completed a reporter package for the story. ”
