I loved working hands on with flavors and seeing the results in the moment. It made me a lot more comfortable with hands-on work in a lab setting. It also was a low-pressure job and I had fun with it.
What I wish was different
The hours were low and not super consistent so it wasn't very dependable money-wise.
Advice
I would advise asking a lot of questions when you think of any because having access to an industry professional who works alongside you is really beneficial.
