What I liked
The hands-on experience, the hard-working staff, and the large variety of animals
What I wish was different
Larger, updated facility to accommodate the large quantities of animals
Advice
Be willing to do the dirty work. It's not sitting around, playing with animals all day. You have to wash dishes, clean up after the animals, do laundry, and so much more. It's not always exciting, but you have to keep in mind that everything you do, whether big or small, is helping this animal one day return to the wild. That is what makes the dirty work worth it.

You will grow and learn, but don’t expect a life of luxury (or anything close to it).
