I enjoyed gaining experience in archival work. I enjoyed taking inventory of the collections and coming up with systems to catalog collections and find missing items.
What I wish was different
I wish it had been a paid internship, but the experience was valuable.
Advice
Always bring a notebook and pencil, and take notes on what you’ve done. It can be easy to lose track.
