Working at the Career Success Center has allowed me to grow so much interpersonally and creatively. I liked that my team has created a welcoming atmosphere so that workers feel valued and encouraged to participate at their best.
What I wish was different
I wish I could work more here! Since I am a student worker, I’ve definitely had to divide my time between work and studies. However, I know if I worked here full-time, I know I’d be able to make an even bigger impact.

During the summer there is limited staff, which stretched out ability to accomplish all the summer projects that were planned.

The office deals with parents and students going through a major transition. Emotions can run high, so try to remain calm and reassuring.
