The staff was very welcoming and supportive. They were very flexible when it came to my schedule. I gained valuable skills in problem-solving and tutoring. They also had staff that trained you to be CPR and First Aid certified.
What I wish was different
I wish I had gained more experience working with different aged programs; I mainly worked with preschoolers due to COVID and then had to switch to working in an off-site program, which was quite an adjustment.
Advice
Do not be afraid to ask questions and communicate your needs to the supervisors.
