This experience gave me an understanding of the detail required to produce electronic products. This location gave very basic tasks like preparing wiring assembling speakers, ignitions switches, tail lights. I was able to observe how soldered wires were further protected by shrink wrap and how wire terminals were connected to wires in order to make it easier to connect wires to devices.
What I wish was different
Could have been more challenging with designing of new products, but no opportunities arose during the duration of the internship.
The internship is unpaid, but Wesgarde is very good at working around busy schedules. Usually they will offer some sort of position after around minimum wage that is also beneficial if your looking to have an income while completing your education.
