What I liked

This company is inclusive and has an important social mission which I have personally seen change peoples' lives. We Can Code IT (WCCI) uses relevant programs like Hubspot, Wordpress, and Canva. It's a small company that runs on an Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and is very organized. All staff members get to know each other and interact. As an intern, I was often trained by the CEO and founder herself. I had a very hands-on experience which will set me up for success in the future.

What I wish was different

There is not a lot I would say about what could have been different. I enjoyed my time with my co-workers and I have learned more in a 3 month span than many people would learn in years.

Advice

If you have the chance to intern at We Can Code IT, I would absolutely take the opportunity. Soak in every detail they teach you. Your fellow employees will give immense effort towards explaining various marketing techniques to you. You will be publishing content for a real company, so be precise and double check your work before you send it to a supervisor.
