I loved having the opportunity to come up with my own stories and share that with the world. It helped me to sharpen my skills as a writer as well because I had to write every day.
What I wish was different
For about 3 weeks, I had the opportunity to edit another intern's stories and I loved getting to sharpen my skills in that area as well. I wish that was something that could have been incorporated at the beginning of my internship.
Advice
WRITE EVERY DAY! There were definitely some weeks when I would slack off, but when I put forth the effort to write everyday I really saw my skills improve.
