About Wausau Woodchucks

The Wausau Woodchucks are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. The 28-year-old summer collegiate league is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 22 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 180 former Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including two-time Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (WAS), two-time World Series Champion Ben Zobrist (CHC) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (BOS), Jordan Zimmermann (DET), Curtis Granderson (NYM) and Lucas Duda (NYM). Many former interns and front office staff members have also moved into professional sports. For more information, visit woodchucks.com

Reviews

Video Production Intern

June 2020 - August 2020 Wausau, WI
“I enjoyed the independent aspects of the internship, and being on my own with a team of interns.”

Operations Assistant

April 2018 - August 2018 Wausau, WI
“I loved having a wide range of responsibilities that included payroll, scheduling, interviewing, hiring, firing, managing hourly staff members, and training them. I also liked how closely knit everyone became. You’re all going through the same daily struggle together, you make some great friends and connections.”
