I liked my consistant schedule, which was 40 hr/week, 7am-3pm everyday, with weekends and holidays off. That made it really easy to plan things around my work schedule because I always knew when I would be working. Also, everyday was very different. Some days I would help in the office, other days I would be helping with lawn repair, or even the maintenence of the water mains! That made things exciting because I never knew what to expect.
What I wish was different
Sometimes I had to do a lot of physical labor, or work in unfavorable weather conditions, which was difficult.
Advice
Even though the work seems really difficult at first if you aren't used to working that hard, it gets better once you get used to it.
