Advice
I started my career at the state department of health after dedicating 6 months to an internship. Don’t shy away from unpaid experience if you can swing it because it may lead to the break you need!

What I liked
I loved the free time i was able to have along side working with special needs kids
What I wish was different
I wish my client was a little closer because having to commute 45 minutes per shift was a little exhausting.
Advice
Patience is key when working with special needs children :)
