What I liked
I liked being able to interact with both the interns and students, and being involved within a growing creative writing community with people from all walks of life involved making art come to life together.
What I wish was different
Maybe just a brief little training going over what might happen if a potential student suffers from an anxiety or panic attack--we need to make sure that they are safe and know we're looking out for them.
Advice
Really get to know the students coming here to visit, and really make it fun for them--you'll never know who might come to WC because of those experience!

I really loved getting to learn new information and work with equipment I had not been exposed to before such as the glove box, GCMS, and NMR.

I would not change anything.

Work hard, show up on time, and do not be afraid to ask questions to better understand the work or procedure.

I liked that I had flexible hours and that I had time to pursue other interests, such as lacrosse.

the schedule was not predetermined and there was only one other employee, so if we were both out it would make things difficult

What I liked
I loved being able to work with human participants for data collection using an electroencephalogram
What I wish was different
I wish I could have spent more time in the lab. I have a part time job as a waitress at The Kitchen at the Imperial, so I had to balance my paid job with my volunteer work
Advice
I learned how to collaborate with other colleagues to generate new ideas regarding EEG research and also learned how to properly analyze and discuss relevant research articles alongside data collection
