The overall hands-on teaching experience where I was able to slowly take a whole class, plan instruction, teach, and write the exams. The community of the school is very supportive and helpful for people learning to become teachers.
What I wish was different
Perhaps the degree to which I was active, because it might have been better to experience dorm duty and interact with students.
Advice
Go in with an open mind, learn all that you can about the culture, adapt, and definitely take the initiative to jump in and get involved.
