Accounting Intern

What I liked

I got to work with all aspects of the accounting department from warranty and parts to accounts receivable. They also made sure I was always busy and had an amazing hands on interactive internship program.

What I wish was different

I enjoyed all aspects of it, I don’t have any complaintsb

Advice

There are many opportunities where you can slack off and not do work. Try your hardest to stay busy because the more you finish the more you learn.

Mechanical Engineering Intern

What I liked

I really enjoyed applying some of the knowledge from my classes in real life applications. This job involved a lot of hands on experience, which is always a plus in the Mechanical Engineering field. Moreover, I made very valuable connections during my stay at the North American Headquarters of Volvo Cars USA.

What I wish was different

I probably wouldn't change anything

Advice

It is very crucial to have a good work ethic. It doesn't matter how smart you are in your classes, without a good work ethic, you simply do not appeal as a good candidate for any given job.
