What I wish was different
I didn't like anything about this job.
1) They told me I would make about 10× the amount I actually did, and I worked hard. If I had known the low amount I was going to actually make, I never would have taken this job.
2) They weren't clear about how much training it would take. I thought I might start my own schedule in May, but I didnt until July. That meant over 2 months of training (not getting paid fully, just minimum wage) that I wasnt planning on.
3) They had me shadow techs in one aspect of work and then when I started my own schedule put me in another area of work that I had no training in. So i had no clue what to do. Which meant my service appointments took forever, always put me behind schedule, and upset customers cause frankly I had no experience in what I was being asked to do.
4) They asked me what hours I wanted to work, but then didn't respect what I had asked.
