The engineers I worked with were all incredible people- both the other interns and the supervisors. I got tons of hands-on experience and learned about all aspects of engineering. I got to 3D model as well as work on the production floor with assembly workers and doing experiments and tests.
What I wish was different
I didn't love Mount Marty where I stayed at for the summer as recommended by the company, but it was alright. There also wasn't a ton of information given to me about the internship prior to starting.
Advice
It is really good to get out of your comfort zone and try internships. I felt really nervous when I was accepting the position and thought I wasn't going to know what was going on, but they really help you out and walk you through what is new or you don't understand.
