I loved working with students and other college students to learn about other opportunites as well as network at NASA Langley and Wallops Flight Facility.
What I wish was different
I wish the communication between employers and interns had been a little bit more clear because expectations were not explicitly set at the beginning. However, this made students responsible for their own actions and it was necessary to speak up and ask thoughtful questions. In the end, this responsibility on myself was much more helpful than a laid out schedule and expectation list would have been.
Advice
Say yes to every opportunity you can that you think would be beneficial in some way to your future aspirations AND you think you would enjoy. Both pieces are key and you will get either bored, lazy, or develop imposter syndrome if you don't have both.
