I liked that my supervisor was really invested in my learning and made it a point to ask me what I wanted to learn and take the time to teach me. I got a taste of all aspects of running a nonprofit which was my goal going into this internship.
What I wish was different
I was working remotely due to COVID, so I wish I had been able to do more things in person.
Advice
My one piece of advice would be to start strengthening your virtual communication. This pandemic has moved so many things online, and my supervisor and I both had to really step up our communication via email since it was one of the only tools we had.
