What I liked

I like being able to ride with different female officers and learn the ins and outs of the barracks. It made me realize there is a lot more to the barracks and it is like a family. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful, it really was the best experience.

What I wish was different

Advice

If you are ever uncertain about a career or not sure what you might want to do in the future, do an internship or a job shadow. By participating as a ride along for Vermont State Police and working throughout different barracks, it just solidified that becoming a State Trooper was my calling in life.

What I liked

I had the opportunity to learn about the law enforcement process and all the step that go into it. I had the opportunity to meet great people and they shared their knowledge and experience with me
