I really enjoyed the people I work with and the fast paced veterinarian environment. The staff size isn't very large so it is a great opportunity to form great relationships with everyone including the doctors to help me in the future.
What I wish was different
Being a very hands on student and going to a "learn by doing" school, I am able to learn things fairly quickly by physically doing the task, which allows me to learn quick. I feel as though my supervisor doesn't realize this and doesn't let me reach my full potential, which is something I have yet to address with her.
Advice
Be very eager to try and learn new things, and always have a go-getter attitude. Rather than just sitting around when work is slow, find something small to do, just try to stay productive.

Advice
Make it very clear to other staff members that you want to learn more if experience is what you’re want. They live having employees who really want to learn and become the best technician.
