I enjoyed researching and spending time on campus with my peers. URSI is a great program to start your research experience and interact more with faculty and other students in your major.

What I liked
I really enjoyed the collaborative, diverse environment. The space was nonjudgemental, slowly building up from developing research skills to completing our own research.
What I wish was different
I wish the research skills portion was less prolonged. Our research portion felt somewhat rushed, though we were able to continue our research for credit the following Fall semester.
Advice
I would highly suggest applying to this research experience, especially if you haven't done any past research! You get back what you give to this program, so put in your best effort.
