I liked having the freedom and responsibility to work on projects at my own desk with my supervisor being nearby. I also liked having a group project with other interns to be able to get to know them and work with others. By presenting our project solution to many people in the company, the other interns and myself felt valued and like our ideas mattered.
What I wish was different
Nothing. I was able to have flexibility with vacation time as we have a set vacation each year with my family. I also liked the amount of interns there were and how we were able to feel as if we mattered by going to meeting and speaking with upper management.
Advice
I would suggest working a lot more on the group project earlier in the summer. It is a big project and you want to impress the people there so do not procrastinate or get side-tracked.

What I liked
I loved the structure and environment in the company. All employees are willing to help and provide assistance. I didn't know much about insurance, but I was supported every step of the way. Their internship program is also structured well with purposeful projects and assignments.

Advice
Just make sure to work hard and ask questions. If you don't know something, ask - it is the point of the internship!
