Care Partner

May - September 2019 • Nashville, TN

What I liked

Throughout the entire summer, I got to see many different medical conditions and learn about different equipment and procedures. I enjoyed being able to see the behind the scenes of healthcare in action.

What I wish was different

At times I felt very lost. People just assumed I knew what I was doing and all about the patients on the floor, but that was far from true and it was discouraging at times. I wish they had taken more time to teach me specifics about patients on my floor.
