What I liked
I liked being able to meet and talk with people from all over the world who were in Lake Tahoe to have some fun. I liked my coworkers and the chance to spend all summer working outside. I liked the thrill of diving into guest service issues on the front lines with no idea what the problem was or how I was going to fix it. It was a great opportunity to learn to think on my feet and make creative solutions.
What I wish was different
I wish the environment were more wholesome and some of my coworkers cared about anything other than themselves and their jobs. I wish the organization had been better and I were empowered more to actually solve problems.
Advice
Go for it if you want to work outside and gain valuable customer service experience in a wonderful part of the country.

There is so much you can see and do in the area and at the lodge — take advantage of all the free / cheap employee activities that you can! Put yourself out there and make friends with your coworkers. Basically take advantage of everything you can!
