This was a quite thankless experience, I provided a lot of free labor for UWSLS and only received a three line email from another intern, not an actual staff member, to wrap up the internship. I do not feel I gained any knowledge or skills during my time especially regarding law, and was frustrated with the lack of opportunity to connect with SLS staff because the work was facilitated by an intern. Once my hard work was published I was not even notified, let alone thanked and recognized.
Advice
I would refrain from pursuing a position with UW SLS, which is very disappointing as I was excited to support what could be a great resource at UW.
